Creatrix behind Mani macrame
Hi, first, I would like to welcome you to my website and thank you for being here !
My name is Annabelle, and I'm the creatrix behind Mani Macrame. This is my small, self run space where I can express myself through my creations and share them with the world to whomever connects with them.
Mani macrame and the meaning behind it. "Mani" is a Sanskrit word commonly used in Hinduism meaning Jewel or gemstone. In Hindu mythology and scriptures, "mani" refers to a precious stone or jewel.
I was born and raised in a small island in the Mediterranean Malta, now residing in Spain, surrounded by nature, trees and mountains is where I get inspired the most. I feel more connected to the earth, nature and all surroundings.
My macrame journey started around 2013 after I taught myself macrame. I was always fascinated by the art so I started creating jewellery every day with gemstones and metal bits I collected from my Travels to Asia. I gradually added more intricate designs and metals to my creations, which contribute to today's unique designs.
Each piece I create is made with care, love, and attention to details. My mission is to create jewellery that is unique and can convey a reflection of yourself through my art.
